Chatterbox and Giggles

Annabelle is our little chatterbox, if she is not talking to us she is talking or singing to herself.

All Vincent needs is a little attention and he starts to giggle.

From Bassinet to Cot

Three months to the day and the bassinet has been dissembled. He’s not our little newborn anymore, where has the time gone. He is sleeping well with a last feed at 9:30 and most nights wakes between 6 & 7.

Camping Holiday

We went camping at Otaki for three nights. It went surprisingly well considering we did not get much sleep between the air bed going flat Annabelle going down late and waking early and Vince having a growthspurt day (which ment he needed to be fed every few hours day and night). The tent and sandpit were the highlights for Annie. The photos are of day trips to farm parks.

2 Months

Vinn has started to roll from his front to back he is also sleeping 10pm to 7am a couple of times a week. Annabelle's talking has gone to the next phase, she uses 3 or 4 word sentences now.

Teddy in Backpack

Since Vinnie has been born Annie has really started to play pretend. She likes to put teddy to bed (in Vinnie's bed) and push him around in the pram. These photo is of her pretending teddy is in the baby carrier back-pack.

Daddy back at work

This is Quin’s first week back at work since Christmas. We thought it would be hardest on Annabelle as she has become a real daddy’s girl but she seems to understand ‘daddy working’. Vince so far is a good baby. We thought Annabelle was good but he is better. He is in the pattern of going down for the night at 7pm most nights and being fed two or three times during the night. He has no trouble bring his wind up or settling during the night. Annabelle still has a midday sleep, so most days get and hour or two child free.

Bath Time

Annabelle was desperate to get in the baby bath, she talks in the third person now, so while bathing Vin Annabelle was repeating “Annabelle bath OK” (every sentence of hers ends in OK). So we put it outside and she played in it for hours.

Say Cheese

Vincent started smiling around 6 weeks. Annabelle knows how to work the camera, this is her saying cheese pose.
