6th Wedding Anniversary

This month was our 6th wedding Anniversary. Unlike previous years where we would go out for a romantic dinner, this year we went to the Fisherman’s Table at 4:30 in the afternoon with the kids. Annabelle thought this was great, the highlight being the ‘Pink Panther drink’ (raspberry fix mixed with ice cream covered in hundred’s and thousands). The following weekend we had dinner with the extended family where the children where given presents. After two fun filled weekends, hope a weekend stuck inside will not disappoint.

The kids are sick again, virus and chest infections. They have been getting one thing after another all winter.

Lucky Your so Cute

While Quin was in America, Annie mastered climbing out of her cot. This has brought along a new set of sleeping issues, like getting out of bed during the night which ends in a battle of up to an hour trying her back to sleep in her bed. Both kids where the sickest the have been so far with a virus, temperature and ear infection. During this time Annie was allowed to sleep in mum and dads bed, and Vinnie was comforted to sleep every time he woke. Now they are back to health they want the same treatment to continue. Annie went through a week of protesting when we put her down for any sleep, waking two times a night, grizzling for up to an hour, and getting up at 5:30am. The strange thing was she would sleep fine in the port-a-cot at Nannies house. So we set up the port-a-cot in her room, leave music and a night light on and now she is sleeping better.

Vinnie is enjoying his food better now, like his big sister bananas are a favourite. He can also sit unassisted, cooperates by lifting his arms up when dressing and slides around the floor.
