13 Months

Annabelle has took her first few steps last weekend (13 august). Though not walking yet - she came down with her first gastro bug and only wanted to be cuddled all day. She is starting to feel better now - so maybe in the next few days there will be some more steps. She has a big fascination with lights. Every time one gets turned on she points it out to us.

This teddy has become her comforter, it goes to bed with her every night.

12 Months

Everything is for climbing on or a horse. Her talking has really taken off, her favorite words are 'shoes, tights, ball, cow, car, flower, mumma, dada, banana and bib'. She also knows a lot of animal noises her favorite being the lion's roar.

Winters day down at the beach with grandad and Tom, all rugged up.

11 Months

You can't even leave Annabelle alone for 5 seconds without her getting into mischief.

Very good a clapping hands and making doggy noises now. Still crawling around everywhere and standing up while holding on to things. May have said her first word 'dad dad' but need to hear it a few more times to be sure.

10 Months

After dad spent all easter weekend painting the house a nice spa at the end of the day soaks it all away

The padock down the road has a few horses in it now, so we went down for a walk to feed them some apples and carrots.

9 Months

Wow, it is all go now. With crawling she is now mobile and that has led to all sorts of new adventures. Nana has been shopping and has brought her a bike and slide to our amazement she can get around on the bike and shimmy down the slide. Another of her favorite toys is Tom’s old rocking horse.

Crawl

8 Mths and moving all around the cot

This week she has figured out how to open her toy drawer and kneel using the drawer for balance. She has increased her vocabulary from just 'ba' sound to inclued 'da'.

7 1/2 months

Belle is just about crawling, she can't quite get her right leg to move. You can see in the below photo that no teeth have come through yet but if you look closely you will be able to see they are on their way.

Most days were so hot we had to spend the middle parts of the day in the pool, Annabelle wasn't so sure about the pool, but loved playing in her blow up crab beside the pool.

Wiatangi weekend camping in Otaki

Family trip to (br)O-Taki the carver clan tripped up, first camping trip for Annie, time to break in the new tent too.
