Cousin Charlie

Annabelle with her cousin Charlie, who is 4 months older than her.

11 weeks and rolling

Today Annabelle rolled from her tummy to her back for the first time. Over the last week her night sleeping patterns have changed, her bedtime is now 8pm and is only wakening once during the night - mum and dad are looking forward to being able to go out for a romantic dinner very soon.

First Cold

Annabelle has had a cold since last Wednesday, she is only now starting to get better. Her behavior has not changed, just coughing and sneezing.

Annabelle can now hold her head up and is a lot more coordinated. She can easily hold her toys and bring her fingers to her mouth.

Ride in the Car

She slept through the night for the first time last night (10pm to 6am). Mum is feeling great today! We don't think this is a start of a new thing, as yesterday was immunized.

Last midwife visit :(

Theresa our midwife came for the last visit, Annabelle gets another weigh 4250g so putting on more weight again.

After a long night and a moning feed, a little snooze in mum and dads bed is hard to beat.

4 Generations - 1 couch

Here is a Picture of 4 Generations of Telfers together, Great Grandma, Grandma, Mum, and Annabelle.

3 weeks old

Annabelle has noticeably grown, this is backed up by the extra weight she has put on – another 200grams. She has also become more alert, making different sounds and coordinated. Below is a photo of her enjoying her play gym. She is not so cute at night as she is not settling until after midnight.

Name and Weight

We have settled on the name Annabelle Audrey Carver. She was weighted yesterday - 3.75 kgs (8.3 pounds), she has put on 382gms in 9 days - we are told that is good.

We Are Home!

Our first outing as a family was on 13 July - a trip to the warehouse and to collect our wedding anniversary dinner - curry (no romantic restaurant dinner this year) but no way of geting out 10days after our little princess was born :)




















12 July her little bellybutton raison (Umbilical cord) fell off.
















We left the hospital on morning of Friday 7 July. She slept the whole trip.

1St bath today, the Midwife gives us a demo.

Thats a face of total relaxation on our wee girl, she loved the bath, especially getting her hair washed!!

Unfortunatly the Ward 12 Midwife Nazi wouldn't let me stay tonight, as our girls fine now they kicked me out, so home alone for me tonight while my girls are in the hospital tonight, hopefully we'll be a family at home tomorrow.
